Hungaria Stamp Exchange has returned from the World Stamp Show Boston 2026 with fond memories of friends, places and events highlighted with stamps, stamps and more stamps! Some of our favorites were meeting new collectors and connecting with longtime collector friends from near and far.

Boston was the perfect setting for the World Stamp Show 2026, celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the American Revolution. We enjoyed this timely issuance from Ukraine marking the 250th anniversary of the independence of the United States of America. It was on July 4, 1776, in Philadelphia that thirteen British colonies proclaimed the creation of a new nation founded on the principles of freedom, equality, and inalienable human rights.
This is a perfect opportunity to highlight the Hungary1947 issuance of President Franklin D. Roosevelt and the Allegory of Four Freedoms: Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Religion, Freedom from Want and Freedom from Fear.
We had so much fun viewing world class exhibits and catching up with philatelic friends. Highlights for us include congratulating gold medal winners Karoly Szucs and Fumihasa Ito, Alan presenting SHP donation check to Brian Howard, Spellman Museum, Diane and Alan enjoying dinner with friends at the Scarlet Oak Tavern. And, Alan, Andrew and Diane packing up at the end of Boston 2026.

Bringing together people from many different countries to celebrate philately is a wonderful event. We hope you will take time enjoy our collection of Europa 2020 Ancient Postal Routes depicted on the stamps of Eastern Europe as well as Stamp Day issuances as we continue to enjoy our recent Boston 2026 memories. Each year Europa stamps are issued by European postal administrations highlighting a unified theme that reflects shared values, history and culture.

We were so delighted to join Past ATA President Dawn Hamman and Editor Martin Miller at the ATA booth for the launch of their new book Adventures in Topical Collecting. We are grateful for the inclusion of HSE’s article “Our Philatelic Journey to Budapest and Beyond”. The chapter depicted a journal of our trip to Eastern Europe illustrated with stamps. This colorful and informative publication is available for purchase on the American Topical Association website.

While the World Exhibition of Stamps 2026 is officially now closed in Boston, we continue to celebrate world class events with philately. “FIFA fever” has arrived here and so has the first of our FIFA World Cup Soccer stamps and souvenir sheets. Please check back often to our online store as we add more issuances from Eastern Europe.
For those of you who enjoyed the historic Boston venue, please consider joining us for the return of the Tall Ships from around the world in July. In the meanwhile, here are some beautiful sailing ship stamps from Eastern Europe.

Our sincere wishes for a pleasant summer filled with fun philatelic adventures.
