Designated as a “World Stamp Exhibition” by the Fédération Internationale de Philatélie (FIP), WSS-NY 2016 provides attendees with a unique experience. Over 250,000 people will pass through the show doors over the eight days. Featuring 4,146 frames of competitive exhibits, a Court of Honor and Invited Exhibits displaying priceless stamp rarities, auctions, 355 hours of informative seminars and meetings, youth and beginner activities, and first day ceremonies sponsored by the U.S. Postal Service, U.N. Postal Administration and other nations, everyone attending will have plenty to do and see.
Alan is set up at the Society for Hungarian Philately Booth and looking forward to meeting with those of you that plan on stopping by the show. If you cannot make it to the show in person we hope to keep you posted on much of the show excitement via the HSE blog.
And if anyone is wondering why there is a 100 year old bi-plane in the lobby of the Javits Center then look for future posts to the HSE blog for more details.
Enjoying the show and looking forward to hearing from you, Alan, Diane, Andrew, Stacie
