Animal Stamps
Include pets such as sheep, duck and dog, dogs helping people and the “Fluffy Battalion” serving in the Ukraine War.

The Ukrainian Post details the mission of the “Fluffy Battalion”
“While war is a real hell”, there is still room for mercy, kindness and love. Photos of their defenders together with fluffy animals are being shared on the Internet, demonstrating the best human qualities of Ukrainian Heroes to the world. Tired and exhausted soldiers, returning from combat missions, are warmed by the love of rescued and sheltered animals. The helpless animals who lost their humans and homes because of the war, reward their rescuers with warmth and devotion. The rescued dogs and cats often become true battle buddies and effective “antidepressants” for the fighters. Four-legged friends help the defenders to escape from the harsh reality of war for a moment and to recall their loved ones and the comfort of their home.

2024 has been a year of continuing wars in Ukraine and the Middle East, which is reflected is some of the stamp offerings of Eastern Europe. There are also stamp issuances of the desire and hope for Peace and Diplomacy.
The China-Czechoslovakia Friendship Farm was founded in June 1956 after the Czechoslovak government gave 670 items of agricultural equipment to the People’s Republic of China. It was initiated by the Chinese premier at that time, Zhou Enlai. The Czechoslovakian Prime Minister Viliam Široký presented the Chinese delegation with Czechoslovak produced farming equipment, to help China develop its extensive agriculture. As a result, the “China-Czechoslovakia Friendship Farm”, was founded in Hebei province. As the Chinese farmers did not know how to use the machines, a group of seven Czechoslovak professionals were also sent to China. There they trained a group of Chinese farmers in the operation and maintenance of the equipment.
