Hungaria Stamp Exchange team members Alan, Andrew and Stacie have arrived at the World Stamp Show New York 2016. The show is a once-a-decade international event taking place May 28 through June 4 at the Javits Center in New York City.
The boyhood stamp collection of John Lennon, singer, song writer and founder of the Beatles, and the world’s first stamp from the Postal Museum in the United Kingdom both are appearing at the World Stamp Show New York 2016
For 15 years Alan has been a cyclist in the Pan Mass Challenge. And the past 5 years Andrew has volunteered as a emergency medical team member of the road crew as well as cycling.
This year, the Hungaria Stamp Exchange will contribute to this good work by providing complimentary starter packets of Eastern European stamps to any friend of the Hungaria stamp Exchange who makes a contribution by July 1st. Then our HSE friends can support the good work of the Pan Mass Challenge and use their stamp interest to help inspire new collectors .
“The Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC) raises money for life-saving cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through an annual bike-a-thon that crosses the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Since its founding in 1980, the PMC has successfully melded support from committed cyclists, volunteers, corporate sponsors and individual contributors…… Our hope and aspiration is to provide Dana-Farber’s doctors and researchers with the necessary resources to discover cures for all cancers.”
