Happy New Year! From our family to yours.

It has been a great year for us here at the Hungaria Stamp Exchange. With the warmest regards, we wish you happy new year. To our new customers, welcome! We thank you for trusting us with your stamp needs and are happy to have you as a part of our extended stamp family. To our current customers, thank you! We couldn’t be where we are today without you and for that, we are thankful.

Alan & DianeLooking back on the year, one of the highlights was certainly our opportunity to return to Hungary. During the trip, we were able to experience the sights and sounds of Budapest, both old and new, and also spending time in towns that currently border on Romania and Serbia.

Be sure to read about Hungary’s new issues below.

This year, in May, we are honored to be the host for the Society for Hungarian Philately’s annual meeting. It will be held at the Philatelic Show in Boxborough, Mass on May 3-5, 2013. It will be a gala event with a Hungarian dinner for our members at a local Hungarian restaurant. Anyone in the Massachusetts area on that weekend is invited to visit with us and meet our members. From our family to yours, we wish you a happy holidays and a joyous new year.

Speedskating Cousins In Sunny Szeged

On the road to Szeged

On Saturday we drove from Bekescsaba to Szeged somehow avoiding crossing the border into Romania on the way out of Bekescsaba. The rain dissipated as we neared Szeged and again we correctly missed the border crossing into Serbia! Continue reading “Speedskating in Szeged”
